tWhy I Got Board Certified
I was encouraged to become certified by the NBTA by Attorney Leonard Bucklin, who is an outstanding trial lawyer. While working with Leonard, I decided to take the plunge, and applied for certification. I am glad I did, for it required me to focus on the specific skills necessary for one to claim he or she is, in fact, qualified to try cases and has met some rigorous, objective standards, to verify that standard. I have received referrals for cases from other attorneys who have told me that it is my certification which caused them to select us. In addition, I have received compliments from attorneys who recognized the preparation and background required to obtain this certification. I have, indeed, benefitted by board certification.

Choose a Board Certified Trial Lawyer
All lawyers are not created equal, but all lawyers are free to take any case they want, regardless of whether they've proven themselves.
NBTA board certification provides both consumers and other lawyers looking to refer cases with an objective credential.
It just makes great sense to choose a board certified trial lawyer over a non-certified lawyer.
